These beautiful cloths are made from cotton fabric which has been dyed to produce traditional, unique and creative designs in a wide variety of colour combinations. The producers are local women and girls who having acquired the technical skills and expertise produce the cloths at home. The tie and dye cloths can be used as wraps, clothing, upholstery, bed linen and to drape soft furnishings.

These are produced by local women. They are cultural and practical, made in varieties of shapes and sizes. They can be used for variety of purposes such as handbags,  beach bags carrier bags and also for the storage of clothes. The handbags are produced from natural reeds (raffia) and sisal and are woven then stitched for improved quality. They are finished by an application of clear varnish, color spraying and blending with other materials namely leather, hessian cloth, beads, shells, buttons and fasteners such as zips.

The materials used to produce these handbags are locally available in the natural environment. Including the seashore and forests while some are purchased from local markets.

They are made of traditional African fabrics and are often accessorized with shells that have been collected from the local beaches. They are made by the women of the group Dzarino.

The items are produced by local women and designed for practicality as well as for their aesthetic quality.
