These products are available to purchase and the proceeds support the women and the work we are doing.

Sandals
The leather sandals are culturally associated with coastal communities. The comfortable and attractive sandals are generally produced by men with skills in leatherwork while the women do the beadwork. The sandals are produced to protect the feet and made by hand and machine using leather and beadwork in a variety of colours and designs.

Paper Bead Jewelry
Paper beads are cultural products which are generally used as jewelry. They are light in weight and hence comfortable for the customer. The producers are local women and one man working together with the aim of economic empowerment. The beads are produced using recycled paper and are sometimes blended with plastic and glass beads. The use of recycled paper helps in environmental conservation.

These beautiful cloths are made from cotton fabric which has been dyed to produce traditional, unique and creative designs in a wide variety of colour combinations. The producers are local women and girls who have acquired the technical skills and expertise to produce the cloths at home. The tie and dye cloths can be used as wraps, clothing, upholstery, bed linen and drape soft furnishings.

Hand woven bags by nonprofit NGO group

Handbags
These are produced by local women. They are cultural and practical and made in a variety of shapes and sizes. They can be used for various purposes such as handbags, beach bags, carrier bags and also for the storage of clothes. The handbags are produced from natural reeds (raffia) and sisal and are woven and then stitched for improved quality. They are finished by an application of clear varnish, colour spraying and blending with other materials namely heather, hessian cloth, beads, shells, buttons and fasteners such as zips. The materials used to produce these handbags are locally available in the natural environment, including the seashore and forests while some are purchased from local markets.

Shoulder Bags
These shoulder bags are ideal for shopping bags or for travelling. They are designed to provide maximum carrying volume. They are made of traditional African fabrics and are often accessorized with shells that have been collected from the local beaches. They are made by the women of the group.

These items include lampshades, tablemats, tissue box covers, hand baskets, fruit bowls, rice strainers, wallets, stationery and food trays. Also wallets, bracelets and sun hats (for the garden). They are produced from natural reeds (raffia) and sisal and are woven then stitched for improved quality. The items are produced by local women and designed for their practicality as well as for their aesthetic quality.
